Public transportation and train

Take the Airport Express bus No. 100E to Deák Square (city center). Duration appr. 40-45 min. More information here:

Departs from the entrance of the airport.
Frequency: 7-10 min on Saturday and Sunday.
Special airport shuttle single ticket: 2200 HUF (appr. 5,5 €)

From Deák Square please change to Metro (M2), red line till the last station: Déli pályaudvar (Southern railway station). Metro single ticket price: 450 HUF (appr. 1,5 €)

From the railway station to Balatonalmádi:
Duration: 1,5 hr with InterCity train. (Frequency: every 2 hrs, e.g. 11:05, 13:05 etc.)
Price with seat reservation 2400 HUF (appr. 6 €) / 1 way
We recommend to choose an InterCity (R) train, so you will have seat reservation as well.

Total price from the airport to the venue appr: 5000 HUF (13 €)

How does the bustransfer work from/to the venue (Hotel Bál Resort, Balatonalmádi)

PLEASE SELECT THIS OPTION ONLY IF YOU ARRIVE ON 7 OR 8 SEPTEMBER. ORGANISED BUS(ES) WILL NOT BE OFFERED ON EARLIER OR LATER DATES, SO SCHEDULE YOUR ARRIVAL ACCORDINGLY.

  • 1) Please indicate your request for this service in the database of the conference
  • 2) Please filled in the travel information (in this case this is mandatory 😊)
  • 3) After collecting all arrival times, we will inform you regarding your exact pick-up time at the terminal, by e-mail and the website.
    Our assistant will wait for you at the transit gate, holding the ISEO 2024 logo.
    Please note: if your flight is delayed, it is not necessary to call us, we will see it at the information boards. In this case, either the original transfer bus will take you to the hotel or another vehicle will pick you up.
  • 4) In case you miss your original (or connecting) flight, please inform us by e-mail or phone
  • 5) From the venue to the airport after the conference

    Bus(es) will be departed the same way on 11 or 12 September. We will collect the departure details and share with you your pick-up time personally at the registration desk in Balatonalmádi.

    from the airport (7/8 Sept) AND to the airport (11/12 Sept) (round-trip): 110 EUR / person

THE BUS TO THE AIRPORT WILL LEAVE AFTER THE CONFERENCE AT A SET TIME. IF YOU NEED TO REACH YOUR FLIGHT EARLIER OR AT ANOTHER TIME, YOU ARE ADVISED TO DISCUSS WITH COLLEAGUES TO SHARE A TAXI OR SHOULD ORGANISE YOUR TRIP BACK ON YOUR OWN.
THE ORGANISERS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE TRANSFER IN CASE OF NOT SUFFICIENT APPLICATION, THEREBY YOU ARE HIGHLY SUGGESTED TO ENSURE YOUR SEAT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. IN CASE OF CANCELLATION THE PAID AMOUNT WILL BE REFUNDED.
RESERVATION OF THE ORGANISED SHUTTLE CAN BE MADE IN YOUR PERSONAL REGISTRATION RECORD AT THE OPTIONAL PROGRAM MENU, WHERE THE SYMPOSIUM DINNER CAN BE RESERVED.
